Meet Dr. Pomerantz
Reproductive and General Psychiatrist
Treating patients in NY, NJ, & RI
I believe that mental health care should be personal, collaborative, and deeply attuned to the individual. As a board-certified psychiatrist specializing in reproductive and general adult psychiatry, I strive to create a space where my patients feel truly seen and heard - where treatment is not just about symptom management, but also about fostering self-understanding and lasting well-being.
I integrate psychotherapy and medication management in a way that feels cohesive and intentional, ensuring that care is never one-size-fits-all. My approach is rooted in thoughtful, evidence-based care tailored to each individual person.
I completed my psychiatry residency at Brown University, where I served as Chief Resident, obtained specialized training in reproductive psychiatry, and was honored with The Martin B. Keller Award for Outstanding Resident in the Brown General Psychiatry Residency. My training emphasized both academic rigor and a humanistic approach to care - principles I carry with me in my private practice. I also work as a reproductive psychiatrist at The Motherhood Center of New York.
In my patient-centered private practice, I limit the number of patients I see to ensure that each individual receives the time, attention, and care they deserve. My goal is to help my patients feel empowered in their psychiatric treatment, with treatment that evolves alongside them.
If you are interested in working together, I would love to connect and see how I can support you.
